Having a 9 to 5 job (in my case it's a 9 to 6) with 2 kids in 2018 could be quite a challenge. Actually it is quite a challenge - financially mostly.

This is when I started playing with the idea of hosting events again. I used to do it back in college and loved every minute of it. So I thought why not do it here and now - 10 something years later?

I doubted myself at first, but with the help of family and friends cheering me on and boosting my self esteem that I can do it (shout out to Gica for thinking of me) - landed me my first emcee gig in the U.S.

Sometimes you just have to believe that you can, and just do it. Don't doubt yourself, and trust in your talent, and experience. This first gig really helped me improve on my confidence, and made me realize that saying yes to an opportunity that you're not sure the outcome of, is always worth saying yes to. Worst thing that can happen is you will learn from your mistakes, and try to improve on it. It is a lot easier said than done but SUCH is LIFE. It's always one foot in front of the other, or you will end up just staying where you're at. Is that what you want?
